There is no technical difference — JPG and JPEG are two filename extensions for the same image format defined by the Joint Photographic Experts Group. Windows historically truncated 3-letter extensions, so both names exist in the wild. Sigify accepts both.

"High Quality", "Balanced", and "Smaller File" correspond to JPEG encoder quality of 0.92, 0.82 and 0.60. Higher quality keeps fine detail but produces larger files; smaller file keeps the document compact for quick sharing.

How page size and orientation work

Pick a fixed page size (A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal) or "Match Image Size" so each page becomes exactly the image's pixel dimension. Orientation can be forced Portrait / Landscape or set to Auto so every image receives the orientation that suits it best.

How image fit works

"Fit to Page" places the image inside the printable area without cropping, "Fill Page" covers the entire page while preserving aspect ratio (parts may be cropped), and "Original Size" uses each image's native pixel dimension scaled to PDF points.
