1. Introduction
Sigify is a collection of free online tools for everyday digital tasks, including image utilities, PDF tools, text tools, converters, a QR code generator and a calculator. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit the Sigify website at sigify.in and when you use the tools it hosts.
It covers both sides of the site: the tools you use, and the website-level services that support them. Where a section applies only to one of those two areas, this is stated clearly so you always know which part of Sigify is being described.
2. Information You Provide
Sigify does not require you to create an account to use its tools. The main way you can voluntarily provide information is through our own forms — specifically the contact page, where you can send a question, report a bug, or share feedback or a suggestion.
When you use that form, the information you choose to enter — such as your name, your email address, the subject of your message and the message itself — is provided by you. It is used to understand and respond to your enquiry. You are in control of what you submit, and you can contact us without including any information you would prefer not to share.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, Sigify relies on standard web hosting and content delivery technology to operate. In the course of serving pages, technical information may be processed automatically as part of normal web traffic. This can include:
- Your IP address, as part of establishing the connection between your browser and the server.
- Your browser type and version.
- Your device or operating system information.
- The page you requested and the page that referred you, where this is available.
- General, non-identifying information about how pages are used.
This kind of information is a normal part of how websites and content delivery networks function. It is not something Sigify asks you to provide, and it is not used to build a personal profile of you.
4. Tool Processing and Uploaded Files
This section is central to how Sigify works. Many Sigify tools are designed to process files directly in your browser. When a tool is built this way, the file you select is handled within the browser on your own device, rather than being uploaded to a Sigify server. In those cases, the processing happens locally and the file does not need to travel to us at all.
It is worth being precise here. Browser-based processing is a design approach applied to the tools that support it — it is not a universal guarantee that applies to every input, in every tool, under every possible future feature. Some tasks may rely on loading third-party JavaScript libraries, and some future tool or feature might involve a different method. Where a tool operates differently, that is reflected in how the tool works and, where relevant, in updates to this policy.
Separately from the tools, some website-level services are not part of file processing at all — for example, contacting us through the contact form, or any analytics or advertising described in the sections below. Those services are governed by this policy rather than by the way an individual tool handles your files.
5. Analytics
Analytics, where used, helps a website understand how it is being used in aggregate — for example, which pages are visited most often — so that the site can be improved. If Sigify uses an analytics service, that service may collect information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed and general usage patterns, and may set cookies or similar technologies for that purpose.
The pages in this project do not currently include a first-party analytics account. If analytics is introduced or changed, this policy will be updated to describe it, and no private configuration values or tracking identifiers will ever be published here. You retain control over this through your browser settings, as described in the cookies section below.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
To help cover the cost of running and developing the site, Sigify may in the future display advertising or use other third-party services. Where third-party advertising is used, the advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, in accordance with its own policies rather than ours.
Sigify currently loads supporting JavaScript libraries for some tool pages from a public content delivery network. When your browser requests those files, the content delivery network may process technical request information, such as your IP address, as part of delivering the resource. Any provider that is actually in use is subject to its own privacy policy, and third-party services used alongside the tools are listed here as they are introduced rather than described generically.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Sigify's pages are built as static HTML, CSS and JavaScript files and do not require cookies in order to work. Where cookies or similar technologies do appear, they fall into a small number of categories:
- Essential functionality: anything strictly needed for the site or a tool to operate correctly.
- Analytics, where applicable: used to understand aggregate website usage, if an analytics service is in use.
- Advertising, where applicable: used by third-party advertising providers, if advertising is displayed.
Because third-party services may set cookies or similar technologies when they are in use, this policy does not claim that the site never uses cookies. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, and you can usually block third-party cookies entirely. Doing so may affect some website features, but it does not prevent you from using Sigify's browser-based tools.

Sigify does not sell personal information as a general business practice. Information may, however, be processed by third-party service providers to the extent necessary for them to provide a service — for example, hosting and content delivery, form handling, analytics or advertising, where those services are in use. Those providers process information under their own terms and policies. Beyond this, information would only be shared where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information that passes through the website. Because many tools are designed to process files in the browser, files handled that way do not need to be transmitted to us at all, which reduces the exposure that would otherwise exist. For information that does reach the website level, such as contact submissions, we aim to handle it responsibly.
No website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and we do not claim absolute security. We work to protect information appropriately rather than promising a result that no service can honestly promise.
12. Children's Privacy
Sigify is a general-purpose tools website and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children. The site does not ask visitors for personal details in order to use its tools, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through a form, please contact us so we can address it.
