About Sigify's Image Rotator
Sigify's Image Rotator is a 100% browser-based tool. It rotates and flips JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP and SVG files using the HTML5 Canvas API. Quick-step buttons cover -90° and +90° (portrait / landscape swaps), ±45° for layout design, ±15° and ±1° for fine correction. A live slider allows any angle between -180° and +180°. Add horizontal or vertical flip on top for mirror effects.
Switch the Canvas Mode to control what happens to the corners created by non-right-angle rotations: Expand grows the canvas so nothing is cropped, Keep keeps the canvas size and fits the rotated image, Crop uses the largest inscribed rectangle, or Square creates a square canvas. Background colour is configurable for JPG export (transparent, white, black or a custom picker).

When to Rotate or Flip an Image
Photos from a phone are sometimes sideways because their EXIF orientation is interpreted differently by every viewer — rotate by 90° to straighten them out. Marketing screenshots, scanned documents, and design exports sometimes arrive at a -1° wobble unless they are corrected by a single fine step. Mirror / flip is used by designers who reflect clip art or stickers, by web editors who invert preview thumbnails for visual contrast, and by anyone exporting right-to-left text.
Recommended Rotator Settings
For archival / print: export as PNG (lossless) with transparent background. For web: JPG quality 80-85% gives an excellent size-to-quality balance. For social media: square centre canvas at 1080 × 1080 px works for Instagram. For transparent graphics: keep the PNG / WebP format and the "Transparent" background mode.
